Nordic Treasures Secular and sacred music from the rich choral traditions of Scandinavia and the Baltic countries. Composers include Egil Hovland, Hildor Lundvik, Wilhelm Stenhammer, Knut Nystedt, Veljo Tormis, Arvo Pärt, and others.

  • Sunday, October 24, 3:00 p.m. First Presbyterian Church, Bristol, TN

 

Messiah Sing Everybody in the region is invited to bring their score and join in singing this masterful oratorio. No audience today; we’ll all be the singers! Not only will it be fun, but it will benefit others: all proceeds are directed to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Christmas Concert Francis Poulenc’s Christmas motets, and other seasonal music from Bach to Houkum, to the Carribean.

Brahms Requiem The Civic Chorale joins with the Symphony of the Mountains and Voices of the Mountains, all under the baton of Cornelia Kodkani-Laemmli in presenting this towering musical and spiritual masterpiece. Contact the Symphony of the Mountains for ticket information.
